This is the second French romantic comedy I've seen this month (the other was Populaire, same rating), and I believe the French are beating Hollywood at its own game. You have the quirky couple that grate on one another until they've knocked the rough edges off, followed by a happy ending. For those who find it too unbelievable to enjoy, just how believable was Bringing Up Baby?

Sometimes it is important to have a light, silly, well acted, feel good movie to lift the spirits. This was it, thanks Andy!

Normally, I do not watch romantic comedies. But, since we had already paid for this one I thought we would give it a try. We should have stayed home.

We joined the Cinema Society to watch thought provoking movies and listen to great speakers. I found this one to be mind numbing.

Inane and stupid. I hate sitcoms and just could not sit through this movie.

We left after sitting through 3/4 and there is a million to one chance that the last 1/4 was fabulous.

The main actor was so annoying that it was like listening to kids screaming on a plan. Not interesting at all nor funny.

I found this movie to be insufferable. The plot was ridiculous and the characters annoying.

The first half of this movie rated a 2, but it pulled itself together by the end and scraped by with a 3. I'm a romantic at heart, but I found the early shenanigans just completely implausible and stupid.

Ditto RichG except for the rating number. p.s. Are we no longer applauding for films we like?

A delightful romantic comedy. Diane Kruger has great range. From Inglorious Bastards to The Bridge (on TV) she never fails to bring all she can to the roles she is given. This was a fun romp. Yet another reason to belong to the Cinema Society.
