LABOR DAY

Set across the last weekend before school begins, LABOR DAY is the story of 13-year-old Henry Wheeler, a boy struggling to be the man of his house for his depressed mother Adele. On a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother come across Frank Chambers, a man in need of help who turns out ot be an escaped convict. The events of this long Labor Day weekend will shape them for the rest of their lives. Written for the screen and directed by Jason Reitman (UP IN THE AIR, JUNO, THANK YOU FOR SMOKING), LABOR DAY stars Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, Gattlin Griffith and Tobey Maguire. A Paramount Pictures Release, it opens commercially in San Diego on January 31st. Running Time: 111 Minutes.Rated PG-13 for thematic material, brief violence and sexuality.
