First premiered at the Cinema Society of San Diego back on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2002, I LOVE YOU, EUGENIO (Ti VOGLIO BENE EUGENIO) centers on a man about fifty with a caring family, work he believes in, a personal routine, and a house in the country. This seems a simply ordinary profile, but Eugenio is challenged by Down’s syndrome, and every task of living is a struggle to achieve a sense of normalcy. Based on a true story, I LOVE YOU, EUGENIO (Ti Voglio Bene Eugenio) features a brilliant performance by the great Giancarlo Giannini.
