Individually a wide berth of humor and drama. A great night. The guests really topped it off. It really made any of my little aches and pains trivial.

I rate the films and not the parking.

Hi Andy:

As usual, the short film program was phenomenal. Kathy and Diana were inspirational. We are still talking about the films to our family and friends. We got such a kick out of "The Job," that I surfed the web to try to purchase a copy. All I could find was this article about Jonathan Browning:

A great night as always! I agree with Alice Elliott, Andy, you do us proud with your annual event. I have a couple of questions about "Clear Cut, Simple". What was in the box? Was it figs? And, why were the husband and wife quarreling?

23-Jan-08: Brad and Louise - Rating: 4

Andy, you did it again. The shorts program last evening was yet ANOTHER hit. You sure have a big heart introducing these people with moving, heart wrenching stories. I hope the "girls" got to see the monkeys today. Thanks for your fine work.

Great evening. I love the shorts. Where a full length feature is like a novel a short is true poetry.

I was so fortunate to bring a friend with me last night and besides companionship my friend provided me so much more. I finally saw in her what I always feel when I attend such a special evening...pure utter joy and amazement. To see the experience through her eyes allowed me to mirror how I always feel but can not express or share (I get home too late and it’s hard to bring forward that enthusiasm at work the next day about films that my co-workers mostly likely will never see).

On the drive way home we couldn’t stop talking about each and every film, the different mediums, the messages, the guests/speakers..and every time we declared one film as our favorite the other would say “but what about this one...?”.

Andy, thank you a thousands times over for such a wonderful evening.

Thank you so much for putting together an outstanding selection of films that we would not have had the chance to see otherwise. Diana and Kathy were inspirational. It was an unforgettable evening.

Yes, there were difficulties with the parking and the waiting in the lobby but once the films started all the troubles were forgotten...

High Maintenance was a great one to start off the night (remind anyone of Lars)

Let's hope that Tanghi Argentini can win an Oscar, what a thoughful gift giver

One criticism, with all the great shorts out there to choose from why bother showing one that most of us have seen before, give some other young film maker a chance (wow, I needed some ear plugs for that one, even if he was just brushing his teeth)

Impossible to see the shorts as the parking structure was closed. Small adjacent lot provided Russian roulette situation.
