Dear Andy,
I am long overdue in writing to let you know that I have been hoping and praying that you and all the good people I met at the screening of THE CATS OF MIRIKITANI survived the fires with homes, families, jobs, and spirits intact.
I was just so shocked and saddened by what I saw on the news not long after leaving your beautiful city!! Watching all the smoke and chaos on CNN reminded me of 9/11 and brought back difficult memories. Life can change so quickly.
Hoping for the best and sending thoughts of peace your way. I know that there will be many months of reconstructing lives there. Please let me know if I can be of any help from New York.
Thank you again for one of the best and brightest audiences I've encountered anywhere on the planet! It was a real treat to meet all of you and an honor to be welcomed into your circle.
